About the event
Join Cool Girls Club and Blue Mountains Adventure Company (BMAC) for a premium rock climbing retreat, base camping at our secluded Megalong Valley campground, with two days learning how to climbing on the world-class sandstone cliffs of the Blue Mountains under the instruction of expert female guides. This experience is designed for women who want to challenge themselves, feel the rush, try something new, and adventure safely with expert guides - without worrying about logistics.

🧗♀️ The Adventure
Across the weekend, you’ll complete two full days of guided climbing with Blue Mountains Adventure Company (BMAC) — one of the most experienced climbing operators in the region. They'll teach you how all the safety systems work, provide harnesses and helmets, and make sure you feel confident to tackle your first outdoor climb.
Our female guiding team will choose the perfect crag for each day's activity, subject to weather and accessibility on the weekend. They are experts in picking the right cliffs for everyone's ability level, ensuring each person has the chance to try something that suits their goals. The teaching will flow throughout the climbing days, with no limit to the knowledge they're willing to impart.
All activities are fully guided, with safety briefings, coaching, and support throughout.

🍽️ Food
All meals are provided for Saturday and Sunday, so you can focus on adventuring and unwinding. Dietary requirements will be catered for and collected after booking.
🧠 Experience Level
No prior climbing experience required. You should be reasonably fit, confident hiking short trails to access the cliffs, and comfortable with heights. This weekend includes abseiling and rock climbing under the close supervision of highly experienced climbing guides.
If you have a strong fear of heights or abseiling, this experience may feel challenging. However, if you’re a little nervous but willing to give it a go, you’ll be fully supported, coached, and encouraged every step of the way. The joy of climbing is accessing your inner child to enjoy the play on the rocks, feel the achievement of reaching the top of a cliff thanks to the strength in your arms and legs, and experience the rush of conquering the rocks!
