Absolutely — and most of our girls do! 🦋 Cool Girls Club is literally built for this. Our events are designed to make it easy to meet like-minded women, connect naturally and feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. You'll never feel like the odd one out — we promise!

What’s the age range?

CGC has three different types of events, to be inclusive of all women no matter their age!CGC is designed for women aged 18–40. We know this stage of life can be a tricky one — whether you've moved cities, changed jobs, or just haven't found your people yet, it can feel hard to put yourself out there. That's exactly why we exist! Our events are built around creating a safe, fun and supportive space where everyone arrives as strangers and leaves as friends. 🌿CGC Grown is for women 35+. Sometimes you take care of everyone else and forget to take care of yourself. For those who want to speed up, not slow down. The outdoors doesn't have to be just for your 20s, or saved for when when you're retired. We take our classic CGC adventures and tailor them to your dreams 🌞CGC Community is 18+. These are events where we have no age range, all adults are welcome and encouraged to attend! From fundraisers to film festivals, this is where we all come together 🌺

What if I’m new to hiking or camping?

No experience needed — we love a beginner! 🌿 Every event listing clearly states the fitness level and difficulty so you can choose what's right for you. Our guides are there every step of the way with tips, encouragement and plenty of breaks along the way. You've got this!

What should I bring?

Every event includes a full gear list on the booking page and in your pre-event email so you'll always know exactly what to pack. Missing something? No stress — we have gear hire options available for most multi-day trips including tents, sleeping mats and Trangia cooking stoves. 🦋

Are your guides female?

Yes! All CGC events are led by qualified female guides who are there to keep you safe, informed and having the best time. 🌿 On certain adventure collaborations like canyoning or interstate trips, we also work with trusted outdoor partners who share our values and always prioritise women's comfort and safety.

How fit do I need to be?

Every event has a difficulty rating — easy, moderate or challenging — so you can find your fit. Most of our community have an average fitness level, and if you're comfortable walking for a few hours and love being outdoors, you'll be absolutely fine. We've got you! 💛

How are groups structured?

We keep our groups small and intimate — usually around 10–18 girls — so everyone feels connected, supported and looked after. You're never just a number at CGC! Our guides are trained in group management and outdoor safety so you're in great hands. 🦋

Are meals provided?

It depends on the event! Some day hikes include morning tea, while overnight and premium trips generally include all meals with dietary needs catered for. Always check the event description for the full details on what's included. 🌿

What dietary requirements can you cater for?

We regularly cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and lactose-free diets, as well as those avoiding onion or garlic. Just make sure you include your dietary needs when booking so we can plan ahead — we want every girl fed and happy! 🦋

Can I drive myself or do you offer transport?

Transport details are always listed on the event page. Many day hikes are public-transport accessible, while longer trips often include group transport from a central meeting point like Katoomba or Hornsby Station. Prefer to self-drive? That's usually totally fine — just let us know when booking! 🌿

What should I wear to a day hike?

Comfort and practicality is the vibe! 🌿 Here's what we recommend:
Footwear — sturdy trail runners or hiking boots (no thongs or sandals!)
Clothing — moisture-wicking layers you can add or remove depending on the weather
Sun protection — hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are a must ☀️
Backpack — to carry your water, snacks and any extra layers

Is CGC only in Sydney or do you run events elsewhere?

Right now CGC is proudly Sydney-based and our day hikes explore the stunning trails across the Sydney region. 🌿 We do occasionally run multiday trips and retreats to locations further afield — think Blue Mountains weekenders and beyond!
