Cool Girls Club is hosting a free outdoors series for women, where instead of paying us - you donate to Share the Dignity. We're running a quarterly event, from day hikes to ocean dips, where you can learn about period poverty and connect with other women while getting time in the outdoors. Connection for a good cause!

Cool Girls Club hosts free community events which are close to our hearts throughout the year. From sharing more information about having your period outdoors in nature, to supporting women and girls in having more sustainable menstrual care - we are passionate about our periods so this series was a no-brainer for us.

We are proud to be hosting a fundraiser to support women and girls in need across Australia. Share the Dignity believes that everyone should have access to period products, regardless of their income or circumstances.

About this event ....

Our first event in this series will be an ocean dip at the gorgeous Maccallum Seawater Pool on the Cremorne Point Reserve in Neutral Bay, where we'll come together for a brave plunge then enjoy hot drinks and talk periods. With tickets to this event being free, you are instead asked to make a donation on our fundraising page here.

The money will go straight to Share the Dignity! You are also encouraged to bring period products to donate as part of the August Dignity Drive collection, but this is not mandatory.

Swimmers, towel, warm clothes, cosy blanket or scarf to stay warm with wet hair, period products to donate 🩸

• Experienced female guides to deliver info session

As part of Cool Girls Club's commitment to raising period awareness, we have a free blog post detailing how to have your period safely in the outdoors here. At the event we will be discussing everything period-related and how to have a passion for the outdoors which works with your cycle - not against it.

HEY ZOMI GIVEAWAY

We're thrilled to announce that our August fundraiser has a fantastic prize from Hey Zomi, one of the leading companies for sustainable period products in Australia!

The Period Queen bundle (worth $100) will go to one woman from the Cool Girls Club community. All you have to do to enter is donate to our fundraiser for Share the Dignity, and you’ll be in with a chance to win a free period kit.

Hey Zomi is one of the companies partnered with Share the Dignity and they have donated thousands of menstrual discs to the charity for various projects, from school education to Indigenous communities.

To be in with a chance to win the Hey Zomi Period Queen bundle, you will need to make a donation on our Share the Dignity fundraising page here.

You must leave your full name on your donation and subscribe to the Cool Girls Club newsletter and Hey Zomi newsletter to be in with a chance of winning the bundle - if you make your donation anonymous we won’t be able to put you in the prize draw!
