CGC Grown - Manly Dam Day Hike

The largest freshwater lake in Sydney is hiding in plain sight on the Northern Beaches, and we're taking you there. 🌿

The Manly Dam Loop winds through one of Sydney's most beautiful and diverse bush reserves - lakeside boardwalks, a lush uphill canyon, native wildflowers, waterfalls, and the chance to spot wallabies in the quiet of the morning. It's the kind of walk that makes you forget you're in the middle of one of the world's great cities.

This is the first CGC Grown day hike - a women's series by Cool Girls Club, designed exclusively for women 35+ who want to build outdoor confidence, explore gorgeous landscapes and connect with a like-minded community. Come alone, leave with new friends. 🦋

What to expect:

🌿 Lakeside boardwalks and lush bush canyon

🌸 Native wildflowers and birdlife

💧 Waterfall and dam views

👣 A moderate loop on varied terrain

Hike details:

Date: Sunday, 28 June

Start time: 9am

Distance: ~7.5km

Duration: ~2.5 to 3 hours including breaks

Difficulty: Easy to moderate

Suitable for: Anyone comfortable walking for a few hours on varied terrain with some gentle elevation. No prior hiking experience required.
