đď¸ One of the first sections of the Great North Walk, the Lane Cover Riverside Walk is popular with day hikers looking for bushland tranquility without leaving the city. The first half of this 11km loop trail is meticulously maintained with an accessible surface, while the opposite side of the river bank gets more wild with fun rock formations and dirt trails.
An abundance of wildlife and gum forest creates a serene vibe for visitors, with plenty of stunning views out across the water while you wander. With bus links and car parking, this walk is easily accessible no matter which area of Sydney you're coming from.
