About the event

🌺 Spring Blue Mountains Campout

Friday 6 November 6pm → Sunday 8 November 3pm

Blackheath, NSW

Join us for a 2-night spring base camp experience in the stunning Blue Mountains — created for women who want to build outdoor confidence while enjoying guided day walks and returning each evening to a warm, cosy camp and a welcoming community atmosphere.

This is not a remote expedition or multi-day hike.

This is a structured, skill-building weekend where we explore during the day and come back to our peaceful, comfortable bush base to rest, warm up, and unwind each night, enjoying the quieter spring period when the mountains aren't flooded with tourists. The benefits of the season include; no bugs, less snake activity, much lower risk of bushfires, fewer busy crowds on trails or at lookouts, more time to catch sunrise and sunset.

🍃 What You’ll Experience

Across the weekend, we’ll explore a variety of walking tracks around Blackheath and the greater Blue Mountains region.

You can expect:

  • Guided day bushwalks with jaw-dropping views off cliffs

  • Jungle and waterfall trails

  • Outdoor skill development sessions

  • Time to slow down and immerse yourself in nature

  • Cosy evenings at camp with warm meals, hot drinks, and connection by the fire

  • All walks are suitable for beginner to intermediate participants, with space to challenge yourself at a comfortable, enjoyable pace.

🏕 Our Base Camp – Seclusion at Nangala

We’ll spend two nights at Seclusion at Nangala in the Megalong Valley — a peaceful, glamping-style bush campground designed for comfort and tranquility.

Your stay includes:

  • Single-person tents for comfort, warmth, and privacy

  • Flushing toilets

  • A cosy indoor space to retreat to in colder or wet weather

  • An indoor kitchen for preparing and sharing warm meals

  • A private, spacious bush setting

  • Explore by day, swim, hike and take in the views, then get cosy by the fire at night and settle into a warm and comfortable space
